Privacy Policy
Get Rid of It PGH is a Pittsburgh guide that also connects people with local junk-removal and hauling companies. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you fill out our quote form, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), your address or ZIP code, what you need hauled, and any notes you add. Like most websites, our host may also keep basic technical logs, such as your IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we collect it
- To get you a quote for hauling or junk removal.
- To share your request with a local hauler partner so they can contact you about the job.
- To follow up with you about your request.
Who we share it with
We share your request only with the hauling partner (or partners) who may do the job, and with service providers that run this website. We don't sell your information for unrelated marketing, and we don't add you to mailing lists.
The hauler you're connected with is an independent business. Once they have your request, their own privacy practices apply to how they use it.
Hosting and form processing
This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Netlify receives and stores quote form submissions on our behalf and emails them to us. See Netlify's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions only as long as we need them to handle your request and keep basic business records, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent us. Contact us through the quote form (put "privacy request" in the notes) or by email at galadyna.ashley@gmail.com. We'll also ask any hauler we shared your request with to delete it.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
